Dolly No No's!

I know that when you aren't SS and or never have been, it can be difficult to make your doll look fabulous.
But in my opinion, some dolls are just bring on the bad doll themself.

Here is a typical example of a bad doll. Of course this is just my opinion :)

The lips.
These lips are seen on new dolls too often, possibly because they are the first lips in the lip selection.
They look too fat and squished, not realistic at all. Add some originality and try some lips that nobody else has used or simply go for one of the lips on page 4.

The Eyes:
Again, these eyes are seen on most dolls probably because they are the first eyes in the parlour.
They're too wide and make the doll look a bit too cartoonist. If you like that, fine. I prefer smaller lips and I use the ones on page 5, one place down.

The Lashes:
If you are going to use lashes on your doll, it's a very good idea as they add depth and make the doll seem prettier. However, like the example above, using the thickest, blackest pair only above the eye doesn't look good. Hop down to sunny bunny and buy some pairs of the lovely lashes: but don't forget to put some on the bottom of the eye too!

The Face Shape:
There's not much to say on face shape except that in the example, this makes the face seem rather bulgy and in my opinion, the third face is the best option.

Hair:
This isn't shown in the example, but I will mention it anyway. With some dolls, the skin tone is pretty tanned which is fine if you're going to go for a dark hair colour. But if you're going to have blonde + tanned skin I don't think it really works.

These are just some of the things I dislike on dolls, but it's your opinion that matters.
