The SBB truths

Recently, an account called SBBtruths was spotted visiting random SBB'ers and further on created a blog.
The blog is run by an SBB'er who still remains anonymous but by humouosly stating their opinions and comments on SBB posts, has become pretty popular.

It was created not as a hate blog but clearly titled as a 'truth' blog and I have to say, I agree with quite a lot of the posts. It's well written and witty, therefore I have no problems with it.
It's not saying "ERMAGAHD I HATE so and so". It's stating who what and why.

I keep refreshing it for more votes which shows how it's rather addictive.

What do you think?

Winter Outfits

It's November now which means goodbye bikinis and shorts, hello jackets and scarves and in Stardoll,  I like trying to make seasonal outfits.
Winter is my favourite season for fashion because it means boots and cosy jumpers which I love!
So, to give some inspiration, I gave some SBB'ers winter outfit makeovers.

Winter is about darker colours, boots, leggins, jackets, scarves and knits this year so make sure you scan the bazaar for bargains and comfy clothes.

My hair designs

I was recently asked by a member of Stardoll to show my hair designs.
Despite the fact that I'm not SS and I don't have the stardollars to buy my designs, that doesn't mean I can't spend time to make them. I love using the different hairs to copy real life styles.
Although I'm not really good at it, like I said, I do enjoy it.
Here are my designs,

I'd love to see what's in your hair design so please feel free to show in the comments!

The 4 Blushers

1)2)

3) 4)

1) Number 1 is the blush that I most frequently use. It's a reddy brown colour simply layered a few times, shaping the cheekbones. I think the colour makes it more of a bronzer so about 2 layers will give a sunkissed look and 4 will give a defined.

2) This is a cute girly pink blusher. Apply it on the apples and shade a little darker on the edges. It works best with lighter accessories and eyeshadow. If you really want a blushing sweet effect, buy a lighter pink for the apples and a slightly darker one for the edges.

3) *Thank you to Emma {Baileydog123} for her doll! This is a cool way to get shaded contour lines without using hair design. Use a dark purpley grey below the white highlights and layer it till you are satisfied with how shaded it is. Works best with darker eyeshadow and realistic colours.

4) *Thank you to Flo {big_fish_} for her doll! Much like number 1 only cuter and pinker. It's a bit more subtle for lighter colours. Use a dark pink with a light pink to shape the face.

Although these are some of my favourite blushers, there are many more colours in the bazaar such as blue and green but I wasn't sure how to work with them. Maybe you'll start a trend of green cheeks some day, who knows?

Tessa~Blackice_fairy November's Medoll of the month

I love Tessa's style, her dolls are always beautiful. She subtly creates a real doll with brown eye shadows and cute accessories. I remember Tessa being one of the first to make her doll realistic which means she's always ahead of medolls and definitely one to look at.
Her dolls usually consist of simple brown hair, perfect features and a realistic subtle shadow on the cheeks and eyes. Here are two of her previous medolls;

As you can see, the features [eyes, nose etc] are perfectly in line to give a realistic vibe yet she splashes colour with quirky accessories. I love how she coordinates the colours together so that in the first example she's stuck to dark wintry colours and in the second, she's used pastel pinks.

Tessa won with a total of 12 votes which is far higher than the other contestants making her a fair win. Her dolls are popular and classy, what do you think?

Well done Tessa, the interview is on the way (:

Sorry I haven't been posting

I'm bringing this back yay, sorry about the drop.
I'll get my army of troops to start posting again too woo.
So yeah, look forward to our winter posts (:
